Assignment Objective: implement an efficient, responsive and predictable IT Services Management operations in the Latin America region and lead the business digital transformation.
Regional IT Operations Financial Model
Directly responsible for a CAPEX budget of $6Million and OPEX budget of $4Million, built an IT independent budget and P&L for the regional Latin America IT Operations Management, spinning it off from the previously one stack version of the regional Finance budget, for both OPEX and CAPEX. This project enabled the IT operations to offer a business-oriented view of the proposed projects for the fiscal year and also created means to monitor progress of investments, expenditures and mechanism for corrections or change management.
Workforce Optimization
Directly managing regional IT team, performed the assessment of the existing workforce for technical, leadership and operational skills to identify gaps and restructure the team to meet business goals. Project executed in partnership with Finance and Human Resources in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Project deliverables: full personnel assessment and detailed profile, new proposed organizational model with respective Job Description for each role.
Document Management System
Design and implementation of a Latin America regional document management system as platform for the operations management of the IT business in the region. The solutions were designed and implemented in O365 available for the approximately 1,200 employees in the region, consumed by approximately 750 employees. Made available first for IT and Finance, and subsequently other areas of the business requested similar solution for their operations.
